Ray’s philosophy:
We’ve all heard of the golden rule. I like to practice the “platinum rule”. “Do unto others the way others like to be done unto.” All of us desperately want others to really listen to what we have to say. Since the telephone is the main communication tool that I use, aggressive listening is not only the key but it is imperative to understanding. I try to model superb listening skills when communicating with my candidates and clients and I expect them to demonstrate that same skill. It is my goal to maintain an informal, relaxed, candid, and cheerful “tone” in each conversation. Why create barriers to honest communication.

People I recruit:
Some people get too comfortable in their jobs. They stop growing. I am constantly looking for the impact players who show evidence of constantly growing. I know them when I see them. I can hear it in their voices. They are excited about making a difference. Candidates who I place have an ethic of constant improvement. My job simply is to match growth opportunities with growing and talented people.
